Default Soft top latch rattle

Has anyone found a solution to the soft top latches clanking when in the sun rider position. I velcrowed them to the header bar, but just a little bit of bouncing or wind still causes them to clank. It is driving me nuts!

I think the best mod for this issue is to embrace it as a "Jeep Thing"

That doesn't bother me that much. Try being 6'5" and when it is folded back it rest on my head no matter which way I lean or how I postion it......

I found the straps to my old tj doors and folded them up and wedged them under the latches. Works perfectly. They even stay wedged in there when the top is up. No more rattling.

Default Found a solution

I sprayed open gear lube from NAPA in all the hinge points then cleaned off the excess, RATTLE GONE !!!! It was the same lube I used to fix my steering cluck on my 2009 Limited by spraying the spline on the steering shaft. The grease gets sticky and gets rid of the metal on metal you hear from the latches. I tried to remove one and tried to bend in the bracket to make it tight what a bitch to get it back on, did not work... Try the open gear lube it works.. its simple and cheap...
