Default Soft top leaks THROUGH the material.

Anyone else's leak through the material itself? My interior gets soaked.

That just shouldn't happen. Did your top get exposed to some kind of chemical or cleaning solution that it shouldn't have? It should be a warranty repair if there is no mechanical damage.

Mine does it, but only enough to wet the underside of the soft top.....and just when snow sat on top of it for a while

X2 -It should be covered if you didn't do anything to damage it

This reminds me of an old episode of Leave it to Beaver. They are sleeping in tents in the rain, and wherever they touched the top of the tent on the inside it would start dripping on them.
Sorry for the chuckle at your expense, couldn't help it.
Lower the seat so you don't touch the top while it's raining I guess.

Agree with everyone else...this should clearly be a warranty issue...unless you bought after market/sale.

HA! I remember that episode! I have touched the inside of every tent I have ever owned every time I have been holed-up in the rain. (but never leaked like that!)

sorry for the hijack.

Spartan99: you wrote "soaked", so it is definitely not a condensation issue?

HiRoller's issue sounds like condensation.

have you tried running a hose around to look for a leak?

Normal, welcome to the forum. Plenty of posts regarding the leaks. Some don't have it but many do. $hitty design for the top and drainage.

I posted on your other post about the leak...but it seems this is very common (newish Jeep owner here too)
I will solve the leak problem myself when the weather improves enough to take the top down and find the issue. Dealers are no help at all in most cases as they mostly just throw a laundry list of possible fixes at it without trying to discover the root problem. I live with it for now but will solve it myself, eventually...good luck!
