Default Soft top not matching with front windshield hook

K - so this is my OCD getting to me right now. My 2011 softtop works perfectly- no leaks- but it really bothers me that the center loop on the windshield is not centered with the top- is this normal? Does it bother anyone else

Soft top doesnt hook up there. I have OCD about things too. If you want the loop centered, get a 2008! It changed in 09 or 10...

I mounted my cb radio up there (heres how -->https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/jk-c...8/#post3011242).

The 2011+ hardtops use the footman loop up there for a hard top latch point. (Before that the front pannels didn't use it and latched to each other in the middle.) I think originally it was there to tie down your windshield to that loop on your hood. I have heard the whole lowering the windshield can break the water tight seal so I wouldn't ever use it for that.

If it not centered is the biggest thing bugging you then your doing alright
