I am new to Jeeps does any one have have any tips putting the soft top down on an unlimited? Also, I was putting it up today and one of the screws in the frame came out, I went to home depot and got a new screw to fix it (not the same). Has this happened to any one else?

 

to put the top down make sure everything is loose. fold the front back then click your latches over the rear doors. open the tail gate. as you lower the top down fold the plastic rails into the top forming a "v" basicly you want it to compress as neatly as possible. i wish these tops were as easy to do as the yj's or tj's. just keep doing it. up and down. sooner or later you'll find a way that works for you . there isn't any really right or wrong way to do it. my salesmen didn't have a clue how to do it. i came back to show him a few weeks later. as for the screw thing i would head back to the dealer and see if they can score you one. it makes it easy when all your hardware matches.
