I've read on here a bunch of people taking them through car washes without any problems. I personally would not. If you were too, i would make sure its a touchless one so your side plastic windows dont get scratched

ive done it with no issues. that said, there is always a chance for damage, so like the other guy said, do touchless. i wont do it again.

I've done it once, never agein. It's like a constant pour from above the the doors and not to mention the back window. The worst part is when you drive through the dryers at the end, the soft top will fall in and its horrible.

Second that. I did maybe one or twice when I first got my jeep and no problems but I did use the touch less car wash. I haven't since bc my jeep won't fit in the wash anymore . You will be fine.

Did a brush car wash once with my TJ and it came out fine but it can't be good for it. I do brushless all the time though.

I wont ever go through a wash with soap or waxes. I manually spray the body with soap and waxes. Then plain water on the soft top.

In the detailing business, my co-workers and I never advertised it was safe to take a soft top through the wash. When a customer brought a convertible, we hand washed it instead of taking it through the wash.

It can be done, but be prepared for damage to the material and rips/tears from the drying out fabric.
