Default Softop and Hard top?

Just wondering if you can have both tops on simultaneously? I was thinking I could put the soft top on and then put the hard top on over it until the weather warms up for good, at which point I could put my hard top in storage. Or is it just one or the other?

When the soft top is down / retracted, you'll be hard pressed to ever use anything within the tailgate since it'll take up the majority of the space. My dual top option was delivered this way and it took 5 minutes to realize the soft one had to come out.

BTW, you can't attach 2 tops to the windshield or the body rails for that matter at the same time.

I was going to put my hard top back on this winter, but now it's already spring!

I'll probably end up selling my hard top because I love the soft top so much. Especially with such great weather and little chance of rain.

.
But, can you have all of the hardware and door surrounds etc on the Jeep and run the hardtop without any issues? Thinking of buying a soft top for my 09 Unlimited.

NO... it all has to be removed for the hard top to fit.

There's a big fat warning label on your soft top when its delivered that says this much as well. You're supposed to remove it or put it up as soon as you take delivery, and they are only both attached from the factory for delivery purposes only.
