With a few pointers from forum member Mike Davis, mine were not at all hard to change.

I have had no issues at all changing my plugs.. Probably been in there 4-times now. The back one are really not that hard - not if you've ever worked on a millennium-era domestic front-drive v6.

I don't remember the magic combo of tools, but it was nothing more special than a 5/8" plug socket, short extension, and a 3/8" ratchet. My ratchet 'is' hinged, but I don't recall having to take advantage of that.

I have no idea how to get the fender well out, or the battery tray, so I give you guys credit

Just to toss in 2 more cents: I'm a big fan of NGK GP Platinums. Inexpensive and work great. Less detonation in my JK when running them.
