I would start by checking all your grounds

Make sure your battery terminals are tight.

I would also check connection at starter if the battery terminals are not loose or corroded.

This is a known issue with the jeeps jk. There is a bad ground somewhere so a little corrosion builds up on your range finder and the vehicle wont start. Shift through all the gears and you'll be set everytime. And no, the dealership will never figure out what is wrong with your jeep. Its fine.

I have the same issue intermittently. Sometimes ill go months without it and sometimes a few times a week. Its harmless.

Mine is an auto trans, when it goes click I just have to move (or wiggle firmly) the shirter without taking it out of park and it will fire up. I think it has something to do with the auto's neutral safety switch.
