Steering wheel on 2011 JKU

Hello all. First time poster, month long lurker, and now patiently waiting on a 2011 JKU 6spd sport ordered two short weeks ago. I'm wondering about the controls on the steering wheel, i.e. the hands free phone and the cruise control etc. Can't stand that stuff in a jeep. It's a shame this is included with the new trim. Can I assume my sport unlimited with no power convenience doodads will be free of these controls. Does anyone know if the audio controls would still be at the back of the wheel? Can't find any photos of the basic sport interior, just sahara's and rubi's. Even my dealer couldn't say for sure. Thanks in advance!

Get yours with the fancy steering wheel and I'll swap you. Even exchange.

I have to admit that while I do not like the new 2011 interior I wouldn't want to lose features or function. Post what comes in your Jeep and we will all know what comes in it.

It's gonna come with cruise and steering wheel mounted audio controls. It's a feature of the 2011 even on the most basic Wrangler with cranker windows etc.. You'll love it just the same don't worry

1. Don't you know what you ordered and agreed to pay for? Unbelieveable.

2. A no-option JK is available right now and is sitting on the dealer lot waiting for you. It's called a 2010 model and will be thousands less.

It's pretty tame for being on the Internet.

1. Calm yourself. The only thing unbelieveable is the tone of your reply.

2. Perhaps where you are there are many 2010's still available. Must be nice. In Quebec, Canada there was one (1) jku with the options I wanted on it, it's 350KM away from me, a dealer demo with 6,000km on it and the dealer wouldn't move a single dime on it. Hence, I ordered a 2011.
