Is it strange that I do not have the tow package and have 4.10 gears......the email from jeep said I have 4.10 gears how can I confirm this and what is Anti-Spin Differential Rear Axle

I see you have a Sahara JK but what year??? 07, 08 or 09


I believe the 07 Sahara's had an option of the 4:10 gears,

and I believe the 08 & 09 Sahara's came stock with the 3:21's and if you had the tow package they came with the 3:73 rear.

 

He has a 2007, the automatic transmission comes standard with 4.10 gears.

An anti-spin rear axle is aka a limited slip, or 'trac-loc'... it helps you maintain traction at both rear wheels.

 

According to that list everything on the vehicle is "optional". But if you gave them your vin then they know what you got, it should state clearly if you have the trac-loc or not.

 

If you don't want your 4.10'S, I'll trade you my 3.21's. MY DIME! NO JOKE!

 

Just to confirm, Tow Pkg. come's with 3.73 rearend.

 

07 Sahara's came with 4.10 in the tow package.....08,09 have 3.73 with tow. I have an 07 w/tow and 4.10 mine has the "limited slip" also....not sure what happened if you got LS and not tow.

 

Thinking it might differ depending on type of tranny you have.

 

Can someone post the email that you use to get your spec sheet from DC? I'd be interested to know what mine has since I bought it used. Thanks.
