Default Stripped a lug stud..

Stripped a lug stud on my tire carrier. Anyone have a write up on how to get it out and a new one in??

EDIT: Didnt read tire carrier, but maybe the same technique?

Thanks. My only concern is mine is on my tire carrier. Will I break the plastic tire carrier using this method?

Might be better to take the tire carrier off of the rear door before beating on it. If you use a deadblow hammer it will get the stud out quicker.
