I went with the VDP version....

 

I'm likin the end caps. Are there any other brands other than RC and VDP?

so how do you trim down and mount the end caps?

 

I didnt use the end caps just cut a straight line and will run like this for a few months until i get a new bumper woth stinger and winch

 

I used a sawzall.

 

I think the seat belt ding is turned off by:

Sitting in jeep with seat belt on.
Turn key to acc.
Unhook and reclick seat belt 3x ending with seat belt on.
If it works it should give you a single ding, confirming that you have turned it off.

Like the look. Ordered mine hopefully will make for a project next weekend.

 

you might want to pick up a tube of black RVT silicon. I ran a thick bead inside between the stock plastic and the end cap and then after I mounted the end cap I ran a bead around the gap. The permatex black matches both the end cap and the stock black.
