ive seen this a few times reading the thread. one simple thing you can do if no one is around to hold that door is to take a soft towel or blanket and hang it in the door so as to keep that door from swinging outward. this helps anytime you feel the need to take that black strap off.

hey does anyone know the size of the of the torch wrench for the screw
on the bottom of the hinge?

taking off my doors tomorrow and need to go buy it

You own a Jeep; you should buy a complete set. You will use many different sizes for different things--hardtop, headlights, windshield lowering or just attaching accessories to it, etc.
