Default Throttle Body O-Ring Question

Does this look right? To me it looks like the 0-Ring is getting too hot and melting. I noticed it when I went to clean my throttle body this past weekend. Click image for larger version

Mine looked the same way. I just trimmed and cleaned it up, that reminds me, I should probably order a new gasket... there was still enough meat on mine to just re-use. I would think they would last a lot longer, only have 25,000 miles on mine

If not I will get one spec'd out and let you know what the dimensions are...

Default Mine looked the same way

except it was black, so I just trimmed the excess that is interfering with the air flow and reused it.
I am assuming that it is an RTV type gasket and when they torqued the throttle body some of it filled the gaps.
