Default Throwout Berring

I had mine replaced/fixed under the TSB for the whistle sound. Had this done about 10 months ago. Ever since, it has felt like the tranny was hard to get in gear....like the clutch was not engaged all the way. Sometimes it's very difficult to get in reverse or 1st. Had to wiggle to get the gears to sync up or something like that.

Anybody have symptoms like this after the TSB? Take it back to the dealer like me?

If I were you I would take it back asap. The longer you wait the less of a chance they are going to fix it. I was at 12,200 (or thereabouts) and the dealership denied warranty coverage. So the sooner you can get it in the better.

Yeah, it's there now.

They would not cover your throwout berring??? Surprised as there is a TSB as it is a known issue.

Nope, they told me they couldn't be certain that the throwout bearing was what was causing the noise. They said they could take it apart to check it but it would be my bill UNLESS that is what was wrong. I told them to forget it and that I would drive it until the sucker grenades apart. Then they could replace the transmission.
