Bfg said they would only cover 35% are u kidding me. Dealer said there were issues with the tires. Time to call BFg back I'm pissed now

Those that are seeing dry rot, are you using tire shine? That stuff will actually dry out tires (and look dumb).

Are these the original tires on the 2008 Rubicon?

It's not the miles that create "dry rot" and cracking, it's the years & sun. You sure don't drive that thing much if you've only got 15k miles in five years.

Likely time for a new set of tires. Perhaps BFG can/will help a little. I wouldn't expect help with the tires if they're five years old or more.
