Default Tire question

What's the widest size tire I can run on my JK? (Stock 2013 Sport with MOAB edition black wheels) I want to run a 32" or 33" tire but I'm scared to pull the trigger cause I love my wheels I just don't know what will fit and what won't. I plan on buying a teraflex 1.5" coil leveling kit to.

You can always run spacers or you can go with a skinny tire. I have the 255/80/17 which is 33.3"tall and 10.5 wide. No spacers needed.

So I can run a 10.5? Cause that's what I'm afraid of because that's the with of the tires I want

First off, what will you be doing with your jeep? If you are going to be offroad and stretching your suspension out at full lock, you're limited. If you are just going to drive through the ditch in front of Zaxby's to get your boneless wing meal, you can get away with a little more.

I have 275/70R18's on my Sahara with a 2" rancho lift, and 4458 coils in the rear. Those tires measure about 11 wide on my stock Sahara rims. With the steering stop mod done (two washers on each side) I have zero rubbing at full lock and full stuff. I think an 11.5 at full lock and stuff would most likely rub. The proof is in the pudding bud, I hate Zaxbys

1 inch wheels spacers eliminates the need to use washers to avoid rubbing and allows to keep a rubbing free full turning radius. I run 285/70-17 Duratracs which represents 33X11.50-17 on my 10A wheels and with the spacers, makes the jeep look much better by making that size tires flush with the fenders width wise. It is also the biggest that will fit the tailgate without mods or weight problems. With the Teraflex levelling kit, you will be very satified with the looks.

Just note that there are shops that won't rotate your tires if you have spacers because of liability reasons. I went the route I did because I didn't want to use wheel spacers. But if that doesn't deter you, just make sure the spacers you get are hubcentric.
