He's being facetious because the question has been asked a million times. It's also stickied at the top of the suspension section.

In all reality- you can do 37's with metalcloak's flares and no lift. It will raise your ride height by 2.5" though.

I have 305 70 17's, no wheel spacers and works fine, only limits turning radius to just over 1.5 turns of the steering wheel, I rarely feel the need to turn more than that. No rub anywhere else. Stock 17x7.5 wheels. This is stock before I installed 3/4 spacer lift to front

Bfgmallterrain- no rubbing on the edge of your flares when you're turning into a parking lot with an incline? I know they've got to rub there. I've run most every size on the jeep in various configurations and I've found every rub spot.

Karls and xx- nope, no rubbing the mall parking inclines, anywhere. Xx- I mean I can turn the steering wheel a little over one and a half times before the tires begin to rub on the front sway bar. I run that size in BFG KM2's, if that makes any difference. And they're pretty quiet for an aggressive mud tire. Rear raised up on its own with decrease in weight without back seat, spare and changing to Trektop NX from heavy hard top

This is 31's, you will rub. It's a little more extreme than the mall but if you hit a similar parking incline then you'll experience the same thing.
