Default Tires again ...

Hi,

I got spare set of stock 17 inch rims, plastidip-ed them in black and I am planning to get BG 265/70r17 tires since I like this tires look. Would it be any issue with slightly wider tire on stock suspension? Tires are expensive and I don't like to make mistakes. Any other tires suggestion with place I could order them would be appreciated! I am driving 80% highways and 20% off-road but I am concerning about winter driving and most likely will stay stock (no lift). Thanks!

That size is on the 10A Rubicon so you'll be good to go.

I've got 265/70r17 bfg's on rubi wheels with no issues. It's ever so slightly wider that you'll not really notice the difference in regards to suspension.

If it were me.......I would spring for used tires, sometimes you can buy a couple sets before you'll touch the price of new.

Thanks, after reading gazillion reviews and watching movies on YouTube I end-up ordering Goodyear Duratracs of this size (265/70r17 ). They seem better on winter performance, quiet and perfect for regular roads. Price tag is about the same as BG's. Can't wait for get rid of these stocks ...
