What is cuzing my top to do this

RedOffRoad Mar 22, 2012 04:15 PM

is it tight or loose? based on the picture I would say you need a new cable system.

http://www.quadratec.com/products/11032_9021.htm

or do you have a 2 door? idk if its a cable system in the 2 door.

The cable and everything is fine I took the frame and everything off and when I put it back on it did this not sure what's cuzing it. driver side is fine

There is a canvas flap along the top in the back, is it twisted around the frame piece? It runs along the roof above the side rear windows

Some better pics for ya I don't have the chance to tear it apart and re do it till tmrw I'll u guys know how it went

how it buckles at the corner of the door there, almost makes it seem like something is catching the canvas or the cable and pulling it inwards.

mine does this also on the passenger side. its a bestop supertop nx.

I just grab it an pull it into the gutter. stays there and works fine.

The shield on the Flux capacitor is leaking radiation that is causing your top to warp. Put the top down and allow the radiation to escape!

Those door surrounds look wrong for some reason. Are they the Oem 2010 ones that came with your Jeep? They look '07-'09. (Guessing it is a factory soft top for your 2-door that is)
