Question what is everyone doing or plan for top storage?

How is everyone storing their hard top that doesn't have a garage/shed to put it in? Just curious of the variety of storage ideas. Obviously there is the canvas storage carts that you can buy for around $300.

I used to put my YJ top in the backyard on some boards with a tarp over it, but don't think I'll want to do that with the brand new freedom top. I'll probably end up using the storage cart to protect it better.

Also how is everyone protecting their soft top windows when the top is down?
Are they laying in the back seat, rolled up in a protective bag, etc. ?

Thanks for input.

I'm just going to BTT this once... just in case it was missed. Since it was moved to the second page rather quickly possibly not allowing any replies for those that usually only review the first page.

I was just curious what everyones ideas for storage solutions are for the hard top... and soft top windows. I'll probably end up getting the canvas storage cart.

There are a couple of aftermarket storage bags. Mopar makes one as well.

i have a soft top and i'm currently debating between the flat bag that mopar offers to store the side and rear panels, or possibly coughing up the $180 for the sotf top boot that includes a roll-up storage bag for the panels that secures to the boot so i can keep them with me on trips with the top down just in case.

I have a Lange power lift that I used for my TJ. I can't use it for the JK hardtop. Lange doesn't currently sell an upgrade to be able to use the same winch for the JK. Also, their new JK lift is supposed to hold all three parts, but if you look at the picture of it, it is not comforting to think of your top stored like that. I am trying to decide whether to go back to one of those or the Bestop storage system that will also hold the doors. If I use a lift, I have to still find something to do with the doors.

The Mopar Soft Boot with Window Storage is not thought of highly but The Clover Patch Window Roll is highly thought of.

4WD Hardware has the JK Window Rolls.

so the clover patch rolls the windows up and the mopar bag keeps the windows flat.

Correct. Once rolled up, the Clover bag then attaches to the roll bar above the soft top.
