i answered your other thread... just remove the softtop much easier than leaving it on.

I think the best answer to this question is: you should leave your soft top on, and give me your hard top.

I'd take the soft top off completely too. I've heard people having issues with soft top shrinkage in the cold. I cracked the rear soft glass window last year, not happy feeling.

Default rear access

it's a pain in the rump-a-pum-pum with the softtop folded up back there when you need to get items in and out.

The big fluorescent orange sticker that was wrapped around the soft top when it arrived from the factory says something similar to "this top is mounted for shipping purposes only. The owner must remove one of these tops" (that's not verbatim but you get the point).

I've heard of people that left them on with no problem, and also heard of people that left them on and had rubbing issues causing damage to the soft top while the hard top was on over winter.

I took my soft top off and put it up in one of those ceiling storage racks from Hy-Loft that I already had on the ceiling of my garage. Keeps it out of the say, safe from any damage and gives me much better access to the rear of the Jeep.

The week that I had the soft top in there with the hard top was a pain. I couldn't get stuff in and out of the back. The soft top is just in the way.
