GF's stock 07 X with 90K has been having a more pronounced rumble strip feeling lately. She had it when she first got it and then it seemed to go away for a while and now its back.

I've been reading the Torque Converter threads on here and it sounds like a lot of people have had this issue and had the TC replaced (or replaced multiple times) but the issue comes back after its broken in.

Anybody have a new/better solution yet?

Anybody have any mechanical issues because of it?




She was quoted $1200 to replace it but it seems kinda wasteful if the issue is just going to return. She just had it flashed but that sounds like it didn't help others.
