Yeah it would have too.. because if you were to get a flat and then put the spare on, the TPMS would go off. So yes. It should have one

Yes, or I should say, it is supposed to.

- Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) Light
• Each tire, including the spare (if provided), should be checked monthly, when
cold and inflated to the inflation pressure recommended by the vehicle
manufacturer on the vehicle placard or tire inflation pressure label. (If your
vehicle has tires of a different size than the size indicated on the vehicle placard
or tire inflation pressure label, you should determine the proper tire inflation
pressure for those tires.)

I have one in my 08, I don't see why the 11 wouldn't have one.

Awesome. Thanks guys. I'm getting new rims and tires put on as I'm typing and wanted to make sure before I asked if they also put the sensor on the new spare.

I just got my jeep a few weeks ago. I have Sahara wheels for the 4 on the ground and the stock x wheel and tire on spare, making it useless because it's too small. Where is the tpms and what does it look like?

Thanks

The sensor is located on the bottom of the stem inside the tire. Before the tire is mounted it is screwed onto the stem. It is interchangeable and all 5 wheels have them.

I Thought the tpms sensors that screw on the stems usually have metal stems not rubber ones. There are sensors that attach to the inside of the rim not the actual tire but I didn't get a chance to see and forgot to ask the shop which one the jeep has.

Jeep uses internal TPMS, and yes there is one on the spare, I drove myself nuts when the sensor went off and all 4 of my tires were properly inflated... i finally checked the spare
