Default TPMS Sensor Gone Bad?

My tire pressure montitoring sensor light keeps randomly coming on, along with the red security alarm light. It doesn't stay on, like it would if I had a tire with low pressure. It comes on, the red security system light comes on with it, then they both turn off. Sometimes it happens frequently, other times, it won't do it at all. My tires are aired up properly, and I lowered the pressure at which a TPMS light should trigger, using my Pro Cal. Is this an indicator that one of the TPMS sensors has gone bad? If so, is there an easy way to figure out which one? I can let the air out of one tire at a time, to see if one fails to give the signal, but I'm hoping there is an easier way.

Any insight would be appreciated.

most good tire shops have a reader that can read the tpms sensors radio waves.

It is possible for the sensor to sometimes detach from the stem. Had it happen on one wheel, light came on took it in and the tech initially said there was no sensor on the wheel but he later found it bouncing around in the tire. I had a spare in the spares box from eBay, back on the road in ten min, all fixed.
