Default undercoating

i want to undercoat my jk as i live in nova scotia canada where they coat the roads in salt. my question is what to do with all the heat shielding under my jeep, should i take it off and put it back on after or should i just get rid of it , it just looks like a place to hold salt and moisture.

Don't remove the ones around the exhaust. I didn't have time to put them back on and it melted part of my battery tray. Now i have a vented battery tray

I would like to know too! I would take all the stick on heat sheild off and spray it on then restick it. I would go as far bedline the hard to reach spots.
