Yes, The Knuckles and Unit Bearings are the same on both the D30 and D44 axles.
Jeep, a long time ago, updated their D30's with knuckles from the D44 even before they started offering a D44 in the TJ (Rubicon).
The D44 used in the JK (Rubicon) is NOT a D44 center section with D30 knuckles. But the D30 is a D30 center section with D44 knuckles.

The problem with the JK front D44 is the small diameter and thin-walled tubes.
