Default Water in floor.

Hi guys, kinda new to Jeeps and I have an issue hopefully ya'll can help me with. I've had my JK about 2 months and when it rain hard I have about an inch of water in the drivers side floor. No water anywhere else and no signs of where if could be getting in. I'm sure I'm not the first with this issue, hoping to get ideas where to look.

Assuming you have the hard top on correct? 4 door or 2 door?

Personally I’ve had water come in from the black knobs in the roof cross bar that locks down the hard top. It’s a threaded rod attached to a black plastic round handle you can easily grip and spin.

based on the volume of water that wouldn’t match my case, but if it’s only on one side that may tie in as only my driver side was leaking and passenger side was fine. YMMV but still a good thing to do a quick check on.

When i brought my 2012 in brand new, the service guy said, "its a jeep, jeeps leak". Water leaked into the jam, straight to the floormats. Changed the header gasket with some xtra butyl and no more wet floormats.

Thanks guys, I replaced the seals around both front doors. Just waiting for a good rain to see if that works.

Another thing is that the rubber seals at times need to be cleaned and sprayed with liquid silicone to seal the surfaces. My 14 year old Jeep does not leak in the hardest rain.
