I found this plastic piece in the back floorboards of my JKU and can't find where it goes. Does anyone else know?

Also, this is my first post. I just bought a 2011 JKU Sport in the best color available...MANGO TANGO BABY! I've been reading up a lot on the forums and am still planning my first mods.

Thanks for any help.

Welcome to the forum!

Looks like the piece that surrounds the seat mounting plates... Check to make sure that they all look the same

That or maybe the part that goes around the tailgate hinge :dontknow2:

Thanks for the welcome!

It looks exactly like the piece that goes around the tailgate hinge, but it's a little smaller. I'll have to check the seat mounts. That seems like the most logical place since it was in the floorboard. I found it right after having my first backseat passenger, so they may have kicked it off on accident.

I don't see any plastic pieces that go around the seat brackets. Still have no idea where this goes.

Some plastic pieces have a part number molded into them. Anything like that one the piece you have?

I thought it was the tailgate first also ...but then 2nd thought was seat rail foot covers. I had one pop off once.

It's the retainer clip for the flux capacitor. Widely known.
