I recently bought a 2012 ( previously had a 2008 ) and was wondering what everyone puts in the new little cubbies, slots, trays, etc. on the floor console.

Jumper cables, gloves, rags, probably a couple other things I can't think of.
Also a good place for some light recovery gear

Lots of things all over the different places to store stuff in the jeep. But won't post everything for fear of Internet trolls that might want to steal my stuff. Lol. But basics are tools jacket blanket first aid etc.

I have a small zipper pouch with my soft top Velcro straps I keep in the cubby under my right knee. Phone goes in front of the shifter tray. Sunglasses and small flashlight on top tray.

Sounds like I need to start filling things up! I probly should get a simple roll up tool set to throw in the hidden, back storage area too.

Our rear storage area in our 2008 JKU always fills up with water during the winter. I had to pull the carpets and the drain plugs out. Just a warning.
