I have the exact same problem and just scheduled a trip to my dealer for Monday. I'll letcha know what they find.

 

I have a similar problem, but I've narrowed it down to the insert on top of the shifter nob. Until I figured out what it was I was sure the noise was coming from the top of the dash next to the windshield.

 

My 08 Sahara has been in for the new door latches to get rid of the clunking noise ...then I got a squeek. Its the sunvisor!!! I used it a couple of time last week because we finnaly got sun here in Chicago and it started to get a annoying squeek. I put the visor all the way up and held it and the noise went a way.... So basically I pushed the visor up harder and no more noise...until next time!

oh ya... the revised latches did get rid of the clunking ratteling noise in my doors! I never moved the stricker...I tried the latches first and my dealer thought I was nuts...but it worked

Check the power window/locks door connection cord.

Mine was loose and making all kinds of racket!

 

I had that rattle, removed the plastic screw and the rattle is gone. that screw is now in the trash.

 

The driver seat in mine squeeked pretty bad for a while. It took me forever to figure it out. Every time it starts to come back I just pump the seat up using that lever on the side and the noise goes away.

 

Went to the dealership....waste of time and gas. They said there were some loose wites (ac wire) and some screws...maybe so, but that wasnt it. I drove out of the lot and immediately heard it again. You would think they would have driven it after to make sure it went away but no. I've got nothing, sorry guys.

 

i have the same rattle every time i hold the sun visor it stops. it's is up in the corner and if im in ADD mode it drives me crazy i just turn up the radio. im going to try and see if i can pop a piece of foam in there and see if that works

 

I've got 2008 Sahara JK and similar thing...rattle as if something small is vibrating against metal. Happens mostly at hiway speed. I thought the cowl screen might be doing it as the plastic push pins seem to losen off after awhile but haven't attact problem yet.

 

It really DRIVES me crazy - however, I haven't bothered to take it in to the dealer. I notice mine a lower speeds (under 20). I am sure it is all the time - just that is when I notice. I am temped to remove the front bar thing that runs along the left of window frame...
