OK..we got the hook thing figured out.

What about those little vent / speaker thing? What are those?

Think about that for a second.. grocery bag hooks in a Jeep Wrangler.

Have one of those in my front, where the second power slot is. grabbed a $5 bag from autozone (looks like a koozie) and stuck it there for my change

YES! Although I don't think the console goes in the liberty. Does not look the same, and the 2012 does not have a rear DVD option. The saga continues.

I doubt that they are air vents, but maybe?

I use the one in the front to clip/hold/organize my mp3 player's input cord. The ones in the back are good to hold onto a walmart back to use for trash.

I believe the hooks are where the rear power-window controls would be on an unlimited.

The little 'vent' looking things look just like the microphones elsewhere in my Jeep. I'd never noticed them back there.

I use those clips for the set of two-way radio's i have. The belt clips hang perfectly off of those, and it keeps the out of the way until i need them. Plus, makes them easy to get to with the charger cable out of the center console.
