Wheel spacers

Alright I have a stock 2013 jk, want to give it a lil more aggressive look, what do you guys think about 2 inch wheel spacers. It's cheaper than buying wider wheels and with the spacer shouldn't it allow me to a bigger tire as we'll. let me know what you guys think. Thanks .

i say you will be fine. i ran them for a while. If i recall though in a 5x5 bolt pattern 2" is not to common, but its been awhile since i looked.

edit, just looked they are out there.

I think you could go a little bigger, but the spacer is going to help bring the tires out away from stuff. So, your still going to have things like the bumper, fender flares, etc that you may rub on if you go too tall.

If you aren't gonna wheel it then I say cut your fenders slap 35's and wheel spacers

I also was interested in wheel spacers but i heard some bad stuff about them breaking also i heard u have to constantly check on them and tighten them is this true?

I checked mine two times since I put them since you have to after the for 100 miles then every rotation, if installed correct you shouldn't have any issues

I've had mine on for 35K miles without issues. Wheeled hard occasionally, mostly moderate trails though. I check them when I rotate tires with the torque set a little lower than what I put them on at to not mess with loctite.

Mine are Spidertrax 1.5" and they have been great.

Agreed, I'm at 18K with the same size spacer.. No issues at all - even after an accident, and they passed state inspection without issue too..

I ran 2" spacers for almost 2 years with no issues
