Default Wind noise on soft top

I have an aweful lot of wind noise on my soft top from the passenger side. I do not hear the same noise from the drivers side.

It does not bother me so much, I just turn the music up. When my wife is with me though she is unhappy about it. You know how that is, you have to keep the wife happy.......

I checked the rubber strips on top of the window frame and they seem fine.

Any suggestions on how to quiet this down?

Thanks for the help.

Joe.

Had the same problem with our 2 dr , been back to dealer several times no luck, they told me because it wasn't a sunrider it was made a little different , not as good ,and it wouldn't be as quiet . A load of crap IMO !

There's a couple of TSBs - one on the acceptable gap between the seal and the top, another on noise generated at the A pillar due to a hollow space and air movement. You can check them out here:

I know it sounds extreamly simple and obvious, but double check to make sure the tabs over the doors are tucked in. I once drove from California back to New Mexico, noisy as hell all the way, realized when i got back i never tucked back in the tabs...... hahah

also, either way it's pretty loud because of the non-aerodynamic design but thats why we love it

I have the unlimited with the 1/2 doors. at highway speed the passenger side upper would pull away 1/4-3/8". double checked that the upper was seated properly. took it to the dealer, their top guy said the top was installed improperly. he reinstalled ( I know not what he did, this is what the service advisor told me). I have had it up and down many times since. no noise issues and no leaks now.
