One change for the JK model was an slightly more rounded windscreen. Just throwing the idea out, but could this be part of the problem? Ain't FLAT poor installation? poor engineering (I know, punch me)? too much flex where there shouldn't be any?
Before I jinx myself, I'm shuttin up........

Part of the deal with Crapsler is for them to honor warranty on vehicles made prior to bankruptcy so that will not be an issue with yours. What is and has been an issue with them is getting a response no matter what the problem. I fought them for almost a year now to fix or replace mine due to water leaks to no avail so turned it over to a lemon lawyer who is getting it done (I hope). I love my jeep and wish the company was more user friendly.

Follow a big rig get the company name and turn it into you insurance and pay the deductable. All trucking companies just pay it just know where you where when you seen the truck and around what time.

Don't you have full glass coverage? It's cheap! I would never file a complaint against an innocent party to save myself $$. Couldn't live with myself for doing something like that.

If you have collision and comp insurance, full glass is almost nothing to add.

Im on my third windsheild. I guess its been replaced twice. First time end of march in 09 and then in end of May of 09. But I have full Glass coverage so it doesn't cost me anything. I just hope this one lasts more than 2 months. First time cracked to a 4 inch crack within a couple of hours, second one cracked instantly to a 4 inch crack. Same basic place, on the driverside lower area.

On my third and it's cracked. It's not in my line of vision so F'it. Just got my inspection sticker with the cracked windsheild. Gotta love small towns.

my comprehensive deductible is $250, it's not worth reporting if the replacement is/or was in this case, $276 total.
This one is not Mopar glass, and there's a tiny bit of wind noise you'd have to be looking for to notice with this one.

I have had my Jeep for over 2 years and still have the same windshield. About a year ago I was coing from California back home to colorado and in Utah they were doing some road construction. Some idiot cut me off and peppered my Jeep with some loose rocks. It left some tiny paint chips and chipped the edge of the windshield. The chip has not gotten any worse since then. I guess I'm just lucky.
