Hey guys I'm going to go get my windshield replaced and forgot to ask them if I need to remove my window light brackets and 3 inch lights anyone who got their window replaced do you have to remove these items ? They are closed for the day or I would call back and ask

 

When the body shop replaced mine i got it back with them folded all the way back.

But both bolts were loose, so they could've removed them.... I'd take them off, at least the lights, the brackets should be fine.

I work at a glass shop part time. Typically we deal with whatever mods the customer has and put them back as we find them.
If you have a newer Rubi, make sure you get the Rubi windshield.

Rubicon glass has a lil jeep in the passenger bottom corner and the jeep grill logo top center

 

All 2012 glass has these

 

So does my 2011 JKU Sahara

 

I wasn't sure. I just figured when someone said to get the rubicon glass. I think it's a nice touch tho.
