Mystery ding
Yesterday while traveling down the interstate my 2014 2 door 8,200 miles made a mystery ding sound. Now every time it is started it goes through it's normal start up procedure, then it proceeds to ding similar to low fuel. All seat belts were fastened, doors are closed, fluid levels are normal, and jeep was operating at normal running temp. No lights are illuminated on the dash and no messages shown. I've searched the forums and haven't been able to find an answer. I am going to be scheduling an appointment with the dealership tomorrow morning just wondering if anyone could shed some light on the situation. Thanks

After ditching stock wheels/tires I had a ding without a light for about 4-6 months as I recall. Now, I have a light permanently and only a ding every few times I start up. You just can't explain that.
This is only a guess but I think it's such a simple fix that it's a good starting point.

I'm experiencing the same "ding." It started at around 6800 miles on my 2014, about two weeks ago, which I bought Labor Day weekend, 2013.
I think it's the oil change notifier. According to the 'owners manual' the computer will determine the oil change interval based on use. I have a service appointment scheduled for later this week (I get free oil changes, it was a purchase incentive from the dealer) so I hope to have a definitive answer then.
By the way the ding sounds about 3 seconds after the engine is started.

It turned out to be the oil change ding. I figured there would have been some sort of message to go along with it. I followed the reset procedure and it's fixed.

Beginning yesterday my "ding" is now followed with the words "change oil" on the display where my odometer reading is. I think it was about three weeks with the ding only.
