The question you might want to ask yourself is how far was that finger actually up your nose. If you go past the first 1 or 2 knuckles that could affect your mileage, or at least your perception of it.

Does anyone know what the clock is on the trip computer. Something about hours run since last service or something like that? What the hell is the point if that is what it is. I would rather have a trip timer.

Is this another joke?
ET is Elapsed Time. It is the time elapsed
since the last time it was set to zero.
Hold button in while ET is displayed to zero it.
Useful for gauging travel times from point A to
point B.
