Hey guys, I am a noob at this automotive stuff but I am learning. I can't seem to find my dealer sheet so how can I tell if I have the D44 or if I have the D35? any advice would be a big help.

 

Just take a look underneath at the shape of the differential. That's the easiest way to tell.

There are some threads here that have pictures of what the Dana 44 looks like. Or, if you do a Google search you'll see some pics and diagrams of them. Mine did not show on the sticker, but a quick look underneath confirmed it.

 

my '07 X 2dr does not have the tow package but has the 17" wheels and came with a D44.
