I have a 2013 JKU that came with the factory anti spin and I can assure you that the factory anti spin is not a Detroit Truetrac. The factory system is called Trac-Loc Anti-Spin. It has spider gears as well as clutch packs.

correct. Trac-loc works well but there are a lot of complaints of chipped/broken spiders gears.

yes it’s redesigned and different supposedly stronger.... as I stated before The actual axle tube is thicker metal. And regardless which trim the tube itself is shared regardless of rubicon or a sport. Just the axle tube.... I’m trying to be smart not sure we need a rubi..... they are willing to work on the price with this truck as a left over 18 .... it drove very well didn’t feel any weird steering issue and it’s already got a mopar lift with 35s on it and they agreed to regear it so that it shifts to 8th gear

Are they regearing the differentials or just programming the correct tire size?

If they are regearing then just have them also install truetracs since they are already messing with the gears and carrier.

As far as the Factory anti spin I would not waste the time effort or money unless you ordered it from the factory that way.

Mine had 56000 Miles on it with mostly highway and very little offroad and the clutches were worn out and gears all chipped up.

so mentioned that since they put the lift and 35s on it ..... did you guys regear it for 35s because it will not shift into 8th gear ( this was their decision before they even knew I was in existence). Salesman then said something like well why would u need to go past 7th gear.... I then said lol because it’s brand new and it’s supposed to. They then offered the 4.10s which is def better than the stock 3.45. We can put the rubicon 4.10 in.... I said ok I’d be happy with that...... HOWEVER .... how will they fit the 4.10 from a rubi in If the whole differential is bigger housing an 8.5 inch ring when the m200 has a 7 inch ring. That’s my question really. I did not mention that to them yet as I wanted some fuel for this. As for the true track is the dealer really going to put that in and still waranty the Jeep? True track is mopar or aftermarket

This anti spin is hardly worth the labor, time, and expense. IT’s even questionable when placing a factory order. Do some research on BLD

I just skimmed this thread, and I know you are concerned about warranty and keeping it more stock, but I'd argue you're better off after market for both quality of parts and cost of labor. Either that or keep it as is. LSD in my opinion is only worth it if 1) came like that, and 2) you have no intention of changing it. If you like the jeep and the budget aligns, buy it as is. I'd bet you don't notice it missing the LSD much. $600+ towards something you will notice more. Also, they now know it's not what you really want. That's just more leverage for you.

you are a hundred percent on this man. It’s also an 18 I have a feeling I can get a great price on this truck. And upgrade as needed. They are gonna have to gear it for the 35s tho. I’m goin back this week
