New Bronco
Thought it would be appropriate to post here as the Bronco is a direct compete with the JL Jeep. Just read they are having quality issues with the hardtop which delays them more.
Can't wait to have one behind me on the trail because the video I just saw in terrain picked by Ford showed that Bronco being a 3WD during flexing situations. So I suggest Ford compare their Bronco with Toyotas not Wranglers. 3WD vs 3WD is fair. And the angled ditch was really minor that caused the wheel to stay about 8-10" off the ground. I heard there is a company that has already designed a solid front axle conversion. There is going to be a lot of rollovers on trails like Ouray etc with people not figuring out terrain slopes and angles whereas they would most likely get away with the same driving in a Wrangler due to extra flexing.

I watched the TFL video on it a few weeks back. That course Ford selected was so weak. I think the truck looks cool and has some well-thought-out things in the design, but I really fail to see the direct comparisons to the wrangler myself. To me it's a lot like the FJ. It looks like a great vehicle that is probably really fun to drive off-road, but it's a different kind of offroading than what I think of with the wrangler. Though........a lot of people probably don't use their wranglers in the same way that some of us think of wheelin'. Sure don't see that out crawlin' up the same kind of rocks. Two things I thought were no-brainers were a sway bar being able to disconnect under load, and independent front/rear lockers. The rear wheel "pivot" was kinda interesting but I wonder about real-world situations with that. Seems more like a gimic to me.
