Replacing ball joints

Hi, I just bought a used Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara and the ball joints will need replacing soon. Is there a good brand of ball joints you would recommend that wont cost an arm and a leg. I have seen ones for $30 a pop but they sound like they would not last.Any suggestions?

Teraflex- lifetime warranty and they're greaseable. They'll support bigger tires if you ever go that direction. I had synergy and they were fine but they took abuse and I ended up needing to replace them outside of the warranty period.

Factory set up still or lifted with larger tires? Even half decent BJs aren't cheap. If you're running 35s, or plan to move to a 35, Teraflex is probably your best bet on the mid-tear BJs....and by mid-tier I mean ~$225'ish. The jump after that is up to Rare Parts which are typically $600'ish. If you're not building anything big and you don't plan on doing much wheeling at all, you MIGHT try your luck with factory joints again. That would be cheap, but also a real crap shoot.

I am going to keep everything stock for now...I just dont want to buy a set and have to get them replaced in a year.

Go with the Teraflex then. Like Karl mentioned, they have a lifetime warranty. It's the least awful of our options.
