I don't have a winch, I don't want a winch. I've dented two stock bumpers in the last week and I need steel. I want a simple stubby that accepts the stock fogs and I'm not paying $500 for a few pieces of steel. Any ideas?

I did find one that would suit me just fine, it's a Rugged Ridge that's capable of being used with a winch but it's advertised as non-winch. Its still pretty steep at $350 for a few welded pieces of steel and a handful of bolts. Jeep aftermarket stuff is way more expensive now than it was back when I had my TJ.

I think I paid around $250 for this bumper a few years ago. Nice and stout, but I have experienced some paint flaking. Looks like it might be what you're looking for.

The end cap kits for cutting down the factory bumper are under $75 bucks. Not much cheaper than that.
