10 Jeeps Enjoying International Mud Day - June 29

One of the best things about being an adult is that you never have to hear, "Hey! Don't play in the mud." International Mud Day is supposed to be about getting covered in mud and forgetting prejudices, so why not take a Ford driver Jeeping?

1. Trail Stomper

In 2009, Mud Day was introduced to the world by Gillian McAuliffe and Bishnu Bhatta, as a way of bringing community between the different cultures of the earth. This Jeep is celebrating mud and earth, however, things didn't end well, as it snapped its front drive shaft trying to get out of the mud. Luckily, the off-roading community got together to help pull him free. Watch the video of this Wrangler trying to tackle this terrain HERE.

2. Water and Mud

Mud Day was created by an Australian and a Nepali, but has inspired numerous groups around the globe on June 29th. The proper way to celebrate is to get covered in mud until we all look the same, regardless of age, race, religious-views, or anything else that make cause conflicts. When this Jeep gets out of the mud hole at the far end, you won't be able to see what color it is, and you may not be able to tell what generation it is either.

3. Passing Time in Louisiana

On International Mud Day, you can celebrate anyway you want, as long as you get covered in mud. This driver is taking his Jeep for a ride that his mother won't approve of, but mom not approving of something is one way to know it is going to be fun. Getting your Jeep covered in Mud is a time honored Louisiana pastime.

4. Mudding Fun - and Beyond

A huge part of celebrating Mud Day is getting your kids covered in mud, and even though it is not a habit you want them to get to into, on international mud day everything goes. Forget about ruining your clothes, forget about the new shoes, and forget about the car wash you got last week, just have fun. Of course in this specific case, the driver got a bit carried away and rolled it, but that's what it's made for, so flip it back over and let's celebrate.

5. "Damn. I parked in a Puddle. Again."

There are plenty of beautiful young women out there who drive Jeeps, usually to the mall. But not this girl, she looks like a keeper. She's out in the deep mud, flinging dirt, and she doesn't even seem to mind getting dirty herself.

6. The Spray Challenge

If you can cross a mud hole, and send the spray taller than your Jeep you ought to wind something. Perhaps you and your Jeep buddies can have a competition to see who can throw the highest splash of mud? Of course, in order to judge accurately, someone is going to have to stand close enough to get a little wet. Happy Mud Day.

7. The Ultimate Mudding

The Jeep Wrangler proves time and time that it is by far the most capable off-road vehicle to ever touch the mud. With some bigger wheels, an air intake snorkel, and four aggressive mud tires, this vehicle is practically amphibious. A Wrangler set up right can literally go through mud deeper than its fenders, without skipping a beat.

8. Undeniable Capability

It is no secret that mud and water make for an extremely tough off-road challenge, but this Rubicon makes it look easy. The giant mud-bogging tires and the lift let the Jeep claw through this like a raccoon shredding your garbage. If you have a Jeep, this should be how you celebrate June 29th of each year.

9. This Will Leave a Stain

If you want to get yourself covered in mud to celebrate Mud Day, just do some mud bogging with the windows open, or the doors and top off. Don't work, you can just hose it all out of your Wrangler the next day.

10. No One Can See Me Here

On Mud Day we are all supposed to get muddy, to help eliminate prejudice and bigotry. This YJ Wrangler is trying to get so muddy that we forget about the square headlights, but we can still see them. However, the driver of this Jeep has proved that even a YJ deserves to be respected for the Jeep that it is.
