1. Jurassic Park

It's impossible to talk about Jeeps in movies without mentioning one of the most famous of all: the star of 1993's mega hit Jurassic Park. The Wranglers featured in JP are so famous, a number of clones still roam the streets today. We can't think of a better way to get away from a group of dinosaurs.

2. Tomb Raider

Tomb Raider was a hugely successful movie series based on the hugely popular video game series of the same name. Mega star Angelina Jolie played Lara Croft, the movie's hero who also just happened to drive a nicely modified Wrangler Rubicon.

3. Back to the Future

Most people only remember the infamous DeLorean that was transformed into a time machine by Dr. Emmett Brown, but a Jeep made a few cameos in Back to the Future as well. The most notable happens when Marty McFly uses it to hitch a ride to school on his skateboard. Unfortunately, there wasn't a flying version of the Jeep in the movie.

4. Transformers: Dark of the Moon

"Rollbar" is an insanely modified Wrangler that starred in 2011's Transformers 3. It featured a lot of over the top modifications, including a massive lift and monster truck tires, but perhaps the best feature is the mini gun mounted in the back. Talk about a good way to make sure someone thinks twice about tailgating.

5. Twister

Twister is a movie that follows the story of two tornado chasers who are trying to create an advanced weather alert system. So what was their vehicle of choice for this extremely harrowing mission, where they needed to insert the device right in the middle of a violent tornado? A Jeep, of course, in this case a modified 1982 J-10 pickup.
