1. Off-Roaders Mean Adventure

The Jeep will serve your mom well for any suburban and city driving, but at the same time, it's obviously meant for more than that. If you have a Jeep, you don't need roads to get where you are going. This is undoubtedly helpful if your mom's into camping and outdoorsy stuff, and if she isn't maybe this will get her into a new hobby. Having an off-road beast at one's disposal can be the motivation someone needs to open up to the vast world outside. Getting off the road and into nature can do wonderful things for a lifestyle. It's never too late to go on an adventure; your mom will thank you later for putting her up to it.

2. Jeeps are Safe and Secure

If your mother's going to be driving around in something, you're going to want to make sure that she'll be as safe as can be.  Like all modern vehicles, Jeep designs the exterior and cabin with passenger safety in mind. If you're worried about your mom getting into an accident at some point, you can feel a better more self-assured knowing that she's in a Jeep. The Insurance Institute of Highway Safety gave glowing marks for most of the current crop of Jeeps.

3. Spacious Interiors

Putting the technical specs of the vehicle inside, there's a powerful experience to be had behind the wheel of a Jeep. While it's not a luxury vehicle per se, it is surprisingly luxurious inside the upper trim levels. Your mom would have a ton of space inside a Jeep for any shopping trips and voyages she'll be taking in it. Older people actually love SUVs, as long as they aren't too high, because they upright driving position and high seat are easier for them to get in and out of. If one thing's for sure, it's that Jeep don't slouch at all with their interiors.

4. Jeep Camaraderie

A pleasant side-effect of the Jeep's distinctive design, and open air ability, is that it brings fellow Jeep owners together. You can spot a Jeep from a mile away, and fellow owners will wave as they pass by. By getting your mom a Jeep, you'll be inducting her into this loose family of sorts. Although the camaraderie isn't as strong as the case of Harley riders, there's still a mutual understanding you rarely get among other car owners. Your mom will be making new friends in no time.

5. That Distinctive Look

It's a Jeep. Simple. Although it's not a vehicle for everyone, everyone recognizes it immediately. Surprisingly, Jeep has changed everything since the 1940s, yet the Wrangler is instantly recognizable as the decedent of those Army vehicles. When you compare that to the huge evolution of the Chevrolet Corvette's look -- in less time than the Jeep's been around-- it says a great deal about the timeless nature of the Jeep design. If your mom's a car casual, she'll still get a great kick out of the Jeep.
