1. Hey…what's in this stuff?

No matter how young or old you are you'll find so much happiness during Easter time. From egg hunts to chocolate bunnies to a big dinner there is something for everyone. We're spoiled now with fancy dyes that can be purchased at the nearest stores for egg dyeing but our ancestors didn't have it so easy. Dyes used to make out of things like onion peels, tree bark, flower petals, and juices.

2. Cavity season!

This color is great for standing out against the crowd and looking pretty sweet while doing it. Speaking of sweet, did you know that Americans spend around $1.9 billion on Easter candy annually? That's the second biggest candy pay day right after Halloween!

3. A belt made of beans

This one reminds me of Sunkist Jelly Belly jellybeans. Speaking of jelly beans, Americans eat more than 16 million of little candies during the Easter holiday. With that many jelly beans; you can wrap the globe three times in the sweet treats.

4. So that's where that comes from!

The official color of the religious time called Lent, you'll find purple in churches far and wide in the time of Easter. Did you know that the word Easter get its name from the Anglo-Saxon goddess Eostre who symbolized the hare and the egg.

5. Tiny marshmallow chickens

This beautiful blue wrangler is ready for fun in the sun rocking a color that would be right at home on a marshmallow peep. Every year Americans buy more than 700 million of the little birdie shaped treats during the Easter holiday. Peeps are actually the most popular non-chocolate Easter confection.

6. Green on green

Green can be seen as all the lovely bright and alive grass that is abundant now that spring is here. Green would also be for the $14.7 billion spent at this time of the year annually for Easter. Now think of all the Easter baskets you could buy with that money.

7. It could be worse

This blazing red Jeep has taken the road less traveled in order to make the make the journey sweeter. There is also a group a people who take the same road when it comes to consuming a certain chocolate animal. An astounding 76% of Americans believe that a chocolate Easter bunny should be eaten floppy ears first and then the rest afterward. I wonder if the poor bunnies could hear that one coming.

Happy Easter to all of you from all of us at JK Forums!
