The Jeep Gladiator is already a pretty cool old school style machine, but this Honcho edition takes it even further back.

Paying Homage

Let's face it - the Jeep Wrangler is essentially a rolling piece of retro. Jeep has done a great job retaining its old school styling elements through the years, and that carries over to the new Gladiator as well. But what if you want to really pay homage to the past?

Time Machine

Well, you'd probably make something like this. Viroqua, Wisconsin dealer Sleepy Hollow Dodge Jeep Ram has seemingly put the Gladiator in a time machine and come back with this decidedly cool Honcho Special Edition.

Kicking It Old School

Modeled after the J-10 Honcho, this special Gladiator features the same style retro paint job and graphics. And in case you don't get the reference, there's also a giant "Honcho" sticker on the doors.

Rock Me Momma

Then there's the throwback rolling stock, which consists of white powder coated 17x9 Gear Alloy Trek "wagon wheels" and 35-inch BFG all-terrain tires. These things were everywhere back in the day, if you were around back then.

Light 'Em Up

In the bed, you'll find a full spare mounted to a custom rack fashioned from 3-inch tubing. And every custom truck in the '70s and '80s had KC Daylighter off-road lights, right? So this one does too.

Unique Touches

Other unique exterior touches include a custom grille, J-10 badges, and Line-X spray-on bed liner to protect that fancy space.

Looking the Part

To give this Gladiator a little more visual attitude, Sleepy Hollow added a Mopar 2-inch lift kit and some Fox shocks. Overall, it's a very nice package that certainly looks the part.

Quick Build

Sleepy Hollow started this build with a Gladiator Overland model, and it reportedly took just a week to put together. Not bad for something that looks like it was built decades ago.

Open Your Wallet

Of course, as you might've already guessed, this kind of upgrade isn't cheap. The Honcho package adds a whopping $27,995 to the Overland's base price of $41,890 and is selling for a grand total of $69,885.

Standing Out

But that's the price you gotta pay to be cool and unique, we suppose. And since dealers are marking up stock Gladiators anyway, why not spend that extra cash on something truly unique?
