Smash Hit

The Jeep Gladiator has proven to be a scorching commodity among the Stellantis subsidiary's lineup. Combining the winning formula of the popular Wrangler model with the utility of a pickup truck, the American brand has been able to revive the iconic Gladiator nameplate rather effectively.

Economical Venture

Since sales commenced in 2019, Jeep has sold comfortably over 200,000 units of the pickup truck. And that's without even taking into consideration this year's figures. Not only has the manufacturer had success in terms of sales volume, but they've also been able to manage production costs due to the fact that the Gladiator uses mostly Wrangler parts and stamps.

Expanding the Lineup?

As popular and, quite frankly, practical as the Jeep Gladiator may be, however, it's not exactly considered a serious player in the pickup truck market. Jeep doesn't offer as much modular capability across the Gladiator lineup as a Ford or Chevy. That could change, though, if the brand decided to introduce a single-cab version.

Comanche Vibes

There may not be any actionable plans within the company for a modern Comanche as yet. But these artist renderings show that may be just what the public wants. Perhaps now that we can visualize such a vehicle, folks will be clamoring for Jeep to put some plans in motion to bring us a 'regular cab' Gladiator.

Proper Pickup

The artist has reimagined the pickup by cutting off the cabin behind the B-pillars as opposed to the C-pillars. There is a bit of space behind the seats for storage and to allow the passengers to move the seats back, but not a whole lot. And the bed has been extended to take over the space that used to be the second row of seats. This means added storage space in the open bed. Heck, one could probably fit a full-size fridge back there!
