The Rezvani Tank

The Rezvani tank is labeled as an "XUV". This breaks down to "xtreme utility vehicle". When you first look at this thing, that's exactly what your thinking. It certainly is a very strange looking vehicle. The stocky, slightly bloated body is certainly something to behold. The wide wheelbase gives it a nice, mean looking stance to it. However, it seems that some of the paneling is bit odd.

There's a Wrangler in There

From the first glance, you might be thinking "hey that's definitely not a Jeep Wrangler". But upon closer inspection of the interior of the car, you will notice that it is, in fact, a souped-up Jeep Wrangler. You will even see a jeep logo on the rear window.

The Numbers

The specs on this "tank" are pretty solid. The engine is a 6.4 L Hemi V8 that puts out 500 horsepower and 430-foot-pounds of torque. It also utilizes a body-on-frame design. The base price of this vehicle is gonna break the bank, hate to say it. Your better be ready to shell out about 178,000 clams in order to get into a base model.

Available Options

The Rezvani Tank comes with a very interesting set of factory options. You can purchase thermal night vision, a full set of ballistic armor, a leather package, a tow package, and a convenience package (automatic lift gate and such). The fact that you can get a night vision package that allows you to drive without headlamps is baffling. This was truly designed to be some sort of stealthy, James Bond movie mission type of vehicle.

Off-Road Beast

There's no denying that the Rezvani Tank has guts. But does it have glory? Is it worth the 178,000 dollars it costs to own the base model? You can get the same type of thrills out of your standard Jeep Wrangler with an upgraded Hemi engine but maybe that's just me. Nonetheless, it certainly is a head turner and would come in handy on any stealthy night mission.
